The Client is one of the largest hospitality chains in India with hotels, resorts,
timeshare properties and amusement parks located across several countries.

The Client wanted to increase ease of access and transparency to their vacation timeshare operations. The Company wanted to optimize the process for customer engagement with prompt updates, quick action and real-time synchronization using an online application. The Client also wanted this application to communicate with its legacy technology (ERP, accounting software, internal messaging system, CRM, etc.) to further augment communication within the organization.


The following tasks were completed by Data-Core consultants:

  • Developed online timeshare management portal on a Drupal (PHP) platform
  • Virtualized tours of properties, including real-time feeds on weather conditions and other developments.
  • Synchronization with active employee directory, membership database, CRM and financial systems software.
  • E-commerce portal integration to facilitate online membership renewal and expense reimbursement.
  • Automatic generation of analytic and compliance reports.
  • Migrated existing data to the application.
  • Integrated a spot booking facility.
  • Provided all hotel and resort locations with lightweight service that communicates with application and internal database.
  • Issued members with smart cards that provide access to their updated accounts.

The Client’s membership portal and smart card facility received unanimous positive feedback from users. The reservation process is now completely transparent and simple, increasing occupancy by 34.5 percent. New memberships increased by 23 percent over the three quarters subsequent deployment. Better analytics on member behavior is dynamically helping the Client devise better packages and ensuring that their marketing efforts are targeted to the right audience. Data-Core continues to work with the Client to leverage this application into an OTA (Online Travel Agency) website.
