
Kolkata, July 17, 2024 — DCG Data-Core Systems (India), the Indian subsidiary of Data-Core Systems Inc, has been awarded a significant SAP Migration project from Desun Hospital, a renowned hospital chain in Eastern India. This project involves migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, utilizing the latest version, GROW with S/4HANA, Public Cloud’. The project is a brownfield engagement with a reimplementation approach, ensuring a seamless transition and optimized performance for the client across its hospital chains in Eastern India.
Since project inception, Data-Core Systems has been responsible for the design and implementation of an analytics-based solution, leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) alongside ‘GROW with S/4HANA, Public Cloud’. This integration has facilitated advanced analytics and robust user management, guiding the distribution of SAP Full User Equivalent (FUE) licenses. The client, Desun Hospital has leveraged the SAP competency of Data-Core Systems to bring about significant improvements in key business value chain as well as deliver quality healthcare to the patients with advanced technology.
Key features of the project include:
- Methodology: Utilizing the SAP Activate methodology; the project is structured to ensure a comprehensive and efficient implementation process.
- Customization: Undertaking development with over 100 customized objects within SAP BTP to meet specific business requirements.
- Testing: A rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, followed by Operation Acceptance Testing (OAT) to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
- Delivery Model: The project has been executed using an onsite-offshore model, combining local expertise with global resources.
